Gas tank done

This cruddy piece of junk is what's left of the fuel sending unit that's been sitting in the fuel tank.  But the flange/plate is about 1/8" and already aligned with the holes in the tank's top.
I removed what was left of the sending unit's electronics.
With a bit of cleaning, it's not looking so bad.  And those many holes in the middle will be going away soon.
I screwed the place to a sacrificial block to hold it steady for the next step.
Which involved a large hole saw.
Pretty clean cut, overall.
And it fits perfectly over the CJ7 sending unit that is matched to the fuel gauge I'm going to use.
The tank all primed up and ready to go.
The bits I'll be using to make this tank leak free and useful.
I cut a few gaskets to match the flange, and I used my industrial hole punch to make them functional.
Nifty.
With hoses and a bolt with RTV in the original vent hole, which I won't need.
