Inner frame install, for now

The window rubber seals were no good for me--too cramped and wouldn't allow the frame itself to close around the glass.  To fix it, I used black silicone as both sealant and cushion.
Holding the frame in tight while the silicone sets.
The upper frame is massive pain in the ass.  Really frustrating.  Hard to get into the main frame, a bit thin in spots, and the L-brackets on the ends are shot/rotted/dead.
This one is fine.
But the end of the frame is buggered.
Here's some scrap to replace the rusted one.
Black silicone into the upper frame.
Installed.  I'm not loving it.

Master cylinder

These are most of the bolts holding the Bronco brake pedal assembly in place.  Two of them will work with the new master cylinder.
Needed to be a good quality hold saw drill bit to get through the firewall and the reinforcement plate I welded on the inside.
I found a dual master cylinder that will work with front discs and rear drums with driver's side ports.
Plenty of clearance.

Oil pump install

I put one on.  No fancy pics.  Just needed to be done as insurance.  Again, could've rebuilt it, but I didn't want to take the time.
The Bronco pan came with the extended oil pickup.  It looked good enough to remain.

Distributor upgrade and refurbishment

The original points distributor was not going to be reliable enough.  I've never worked with points, nor do I want to do so.  As I learned from my Grand Wagoneer, get the ignition upgraded immediately.  So the points are gone, and a Mallory E-Spark is going in its place.  But I didn't feel the need to get an entirely new distributor.  While I'm in there, I'm also going to replace the vacuum advance.
The original/stock dizzy.  It spins freely and isn't gunked up, so I'll take a chance on it.
The inner workings.  The points are right below the red fuzzy thing at about four o'clock.
Guts out.
The points and condenser.  They may have been perfectly good, but better is better.
The mounting plate that gets the old and the new to work together.
This system works on a light sensor.  Much more reliable.
Much cleaner inside.
All buttoned up and ready for installation.

Radiator install

He just enjoys climbing into the engine bay to work on the little Jeep.
Mocked up on the flanges.  It's actually quite a good fit.
There's enough air flow to get the job done, I think.  We'll see.
No leaks from debris, please.  This came from Walck's.  I had to cut off half of the tangs that clasp the grill to make sure they don't push into the radiator, which is fine since I don't plan on every removing it.
Plenty of clearance.
The fan sits low, but it'll have to do.  A shroud will come along some day, not soon.

The hood and latches

My boy and I thought it'd be fun to get the latches on today.  He's getting better and better with tools--and problem-solving--which is great.
I like that my Willys came with four latches instead of two for the hood.  Not sure if it was ever a stock option, but I'm a fan.
